Our client is an early stage, private company and provides an AI-enabled omnichannel marketplace for European suppliers of personal care and cosmetic products in the $75 billion Chinese & SE Asian markets.

Reporting to the Executive Chairman, the CFO/COO will be a member of the Company’s board of directors. The CFO/COO will also support fundraising and other financing activities as and when required.

The role holder will manage the finance function and implement financial systems and controls and develop the function in line with the expansion of the business. The role oversees all general administration and accounting ensuring compliance, statutory reporting and preparing group management accounts.

The role holder will also plan and manage all aspects of the Company’s supply chain, selection and oversight of 3^rd party logistics partners and insurance companies. Additionally, the role holder will manage relationships with the Companies’ suppliers in Europe and sub-distributors in Asia. 

The role requires an ACA Qualification or equivalent plus substantial experience of managing the finance and accounting functions in an international environment. Knowledge of international financial institutions and systems, including corporate treasury is key. A background in an FMCG environment would be helpful.

Experience of international supply chains (surface/air/sea) and information systems and software (ERP’s) employed for this purpose is sought as is Prior experience of corporate operations in China and/or ASEAN countries.
