The Chair will play a pivotal role in scaling a ground-breaking technology globally, contributing to life-changing advancements in drug discovery, diagnostics, and other fields.

The chair will provide strategic guidance to the founders, helping shape and refine the company’s vision, mission, and growth strategy. In addition the chair will support the development and implementation of effective policies and procedures to ensure that the board operates in accordance with good corporate governance practices.

Key will be to serve as a mentor, advisor, to the Founders providing guidance, and support in navigating the challenges of entrepreneurship.

The chair will bring their ability to leverage personal and professional networks to open doors to new business opportunities and strategic partnerships, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector. In addition the Chair will help guide the management in the execution of growth strategies, including scaling operations, product development, partnership contracting and commercialization.

Another key element will be to assist in developing and executing future fundraising strategies and represent the company, alongside the Founders, to current and prospective investors, fostering trust and confidence in EI’s vision and leadership.

The role requires someone with proven experience as a CEO/senior executive leader, now operating as a Chair and/or Non-Executive Director. The role holder will have successful track record of scaling companies from Seed to Series A and beyond.

Location: Remote/Hybrid, with potential travel (ideally within -/+ 5 hours vs GMT)

The role requires Approximately 2 – 3 days per month and is remunerated
