Our client, a global company headquartered in the UK, is passionate about maximising the potential returns from precious metals. Their products are used in sectors ranging from pharmaceuticals and natural extracts to fine and bulk chemicals, mining refineries, electronics, metal recovery and recycling industries. Their application solutions are used at all stages of research, development and manufacturing and provide cost-effective ways to help their clients accelerate research and product development, enhance and maintain product quality and optimise production returns.

They seek a laboratory-based chemist to join their small dynamic team to conduct raw materials and product analysis and perform advanced metal screening (PhASE) on client samples. This is a unique opportunity ideally for a chemist with 1- or 2-years’ industry experience although they may consider a new or recently qualified Chemist with an interest in metals analysis and sustainability. (Maybe your sandwich assignment or undergrad project was in a related topic?) The role holder will join a high-performing company with a proven track record of developing economically and environmentally important manufacturing processes for global companies of all sizes. Although previous experience in an industrial laboratory environment would be advantageous, full training will be provided, so it’s not essential; an interest and enthusiasm to learn new skills and test new technologies, is far more important.
