Our client, one of the UK’s largest independent chemical manufacturers, is a major global player in fine chemicals and rubber accelerators. They maintain a very strong presence in markets such as pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, flavour & fragrance, personal care, adhesives & coatings and specialised polymer additives. They seek a Business Unit Manager to work closely with internal teams, especially R&D, to coordinate day-to-day existing accounts and develop new business opportunities.

This strategic role provides an exciting opportunity for an aspiring business-focused candidate to drive growth in a company that is known worldwide for the products it produces. With demonstrable experience in a sales environment, especially in applications-based selling of specialty or rubber chemicals, the role holder will need an in-depth understanding of the chemical sector and chemistry and its applications across industry.

This is a field-based role which involves travel within the UK, Europe and Asia as well as limited travel to the US. The package includes a competitive salary, company car and comprehensive benefits.
